Job Description:

HGV Technician – RugbyWe are recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician, Commercial Vehicle Technician, Heavy Vehicle Technician or Truck Technician to join a busy fleet workshop in Rugby. Applicants must have previous vehicle technician experience, hold a relevant Level 3 qualification, a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK.
Location: Rugby
Salary: £44,000 – £46,000 basic DOE + Overtime
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (flexible) | 42.5 hours per week
Overtime: Available at 1.25x hourly rate

HGV Technician Role

• Service, maintain and repair commercial vehicles, trucks and vans
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
• Repair engine, transmission, braking and suspension systems
• Use diagnostic equipment and software to identify faults
• Carry out routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance
• Complete accurate job cards and repair records
• Maintain high workshop, quality and Health & Safety standards

HGV Technician Requirements

• Relevant Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, HGV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician
• Strong servicing, repair and diagnostic skills
• Ability to use vehicle diagnostic equipment and software
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Right to work in the UK
