As the HR Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to influence that across the business, providing practical guidance while helping shape a fair, compliant and effective working environment.
You’ll work closely with managers and senior leaders, taking ownership of day-to-day HR matters while contributing to wider projects around recruitment, development, wellbeing and employee engagement.

Your responsibilities as HR Manager
- Lead day-to-day HR management, providing expert advice and guidance to managers and employees
- Manage and support employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, absence, performance management and appraisals
- Support recruitment, selection and onboarding, developing systems and processes where required
- Guide managers on family-friendly policies, employee performance and employment processes to maintain legal compliance
- Work with the external HR Consultant to maintain contracts, policies and the staff handbook in line with legislation and best practice
- Support development, training and wider projects including employee surveys, wellbeing initiatives, salary benchmarking and job descriptions
What we’re looking for in a HR Manager
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience preferred
- Demonstrable employee relations experience, including supporting managers through HR challenges and change
- Manufacturing, supply chain, logistics or FMCG industry knowledge would be advantageous
- Knowledge of Sage People
- Strong working knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm, on-site.
