Description

This is far more than a traditional infrastructure support role.

As an Infrastructure Analyst, you'll help drive a large-scale technology transformation, working on everything from cloud services and virtualisation to networking, resilience and business-critical applications. You'll combine technical expertise with project delivery, helping design, implement and support solutions that have a tangible impact across the organisation.

Working alongside architects, project managers and service delivery teams, you'll be trusted to take ownership of technical workstreams, resolve complex issues and contribute to the future direction of the infrastructure estate.

• Deliver and support enterprise infrastructure solutions across a complex multi-site environment.
• Play a key role in cloud and infrastructure transformation projects.
• Provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle, from design through to operational support.
• Act as a senior escalation point for complex technical challenges.
• Improve service resilience, availability and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation and support processes.
• Collaborate with a broad range of IT and business stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement and help shape infrastructure best practice.

Profile

We're looking for an infrastructure professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and wants to be involved in meaningful projects rather than purely BAU support.

You'll be comfortable working across a broad technology stack, confident engaging with stakeholders and motivated by the opportunity to help modernise and improve enterprise IT services.

• Strong VMware administration and support experience.
• Microsoft Azure and Entra ID expertise.
• Windows Server administration across modern Microsoft environments.
• Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and core infrastructure services.
• Networking and troubleshooting skills.
• Disaster Recovery and High Availability technologies.
• Experience supporting business-critical applications and infrastructure platforms.
• Enterprise monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams and Intune.
• Azure certifications (AZ-900, AZ-104 or AZ-700).
• Identity and access technologies including SSO, SAML and MFA.
• PowerShell and infrastructure automation.
• FortiGate, Aruba or Zscaler technologies.
• Remote Desktop Services and Hyper-V.
• Cyber security awareness and best practice.
• Exposure to professional services or legal-sector technology environments.
