Interaction Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading provider of innovative display solutions, for a commercially driven Sales Account Manager to join their team in Corby.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with proven B2B sales and business development experience who enjoys winning new business, building customer relationships and driving revenue growth.

Managing a portfolio of up to 150 customer accounts, you will take a proactive approach to developing existing business, re-engaging lapsed customers and identifying new sales opportunities. This is a sales-focused role, so we are looking for someone confident making outbound calls, generating leads and converting opportunities into sales, rather than someone focused solely on account maintenance.

• Develop new business opportunities and grow revenue from existing B2B customers.

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a key point of contact for sales enquiries.

• Make proactive outbound calls to generate leads, identify opportunities and secure new business.

• Manage and develop a portfolio of up to 150 customer accounts, maximising sales potential.

• Re-engage lapsed customers and identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.

• Prepare, manage and convert quotations into orders.

• Promote product launches, marketing campaigns, events and digital sales tools.

• Encourage customers to use the company's e-commerce platform and online resources.

• Arrange customer visits for Key Account Managers and promote the showroom and Customer Experience Centre.

• Work closely with internal sales, customer service and operations teams to deliver an excellent customer experience.

• Maintain accurate CRM records, manage the sales pipeline and work towards agreed sales targets and KPIs.

• Resolve customer queries professionally and efficiently.

• Previous B2B sales or business development experience is essential.

• A proven ability to generate sales opportunities, win new business and grow existing accounts.

• Confidence making outbound calls and engaging with business customers.

• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

• A proactive, commercially minded and target-driven approach.

• Experience managing a customer portfolio and identifying opportunities to increase revenue.

• The ability to follow up leads, prepare quotations and convert opportunities into sales.

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Confidence using digital sales tools; familiarity with business social media is an advantage.

Candidates with approximately 1–2 years' relevant B2B sales or business development experience are encouraged to apply. Equivalent professional experience will be considered in place of formal qualifications.

• Basic salary of £28,000–£32,000, depending on experience.

• Up to £15,000 in additional earnings through commission and KPI-related payments.
