We're recruiting for an exciting opportunity with an established international business, offering dedicated training, varied responsibilities and the flexibility to shape your future career. Initially, the role is fully office-based, allowing you to develop your product knowledge and customer relationships, with the opportunity to progress into Field Sales or an Area Sales Manager position. Alternatively, you can continue to develop your career within Internal Sales.

• Manage inbound sales enquiries and generate new business through proactive outbound calling and cold calling.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.

• Identify sales opportunities, understand customer requirements and convert leads into orders.

• Prepare quotations, process orders and ensure customer requirements are met.

• Maintain accurate customer information, sales pipelines and activity records within the CRM system.

• Work closely with the Sales Manager and wider teams to develop sales strategies and drive business growth.

• Follow up on leads, nurture customer relationships and identify opportunities to increase sales.

• Research potential customers, market trends and competitor activity.

• Provide ongoing customer support, liaising with sales and service colleagues as required.

• Develop your product and industry knowledge, with the opportunity to attend customer meetings and explore future career progression.

• Experience in Account Management, Internal Sales, Customer Service or a commercially focused role.

• Ambitious and motivated to take the next step in your sales career.

• Confident building rapport, picking up the phone and comfortable with cold calling and new business development.

• Commercially minded, proactive and keen to achieve results.

• Organised and happy to balance relationship building and sales activity with quotations, order processing and general sales administration.

• A quick learner who enjoys understanding products and finding solutions for customers.

• Experience within machinery, engineering, vehicles, fleet or a technical product environment would be advantageous, but is not essential.

• Salary up to £35,000, depending on experience.

• 37.5-hour working week.

• 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.
