1st Line IT Support Technician Location: Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (40 hours per week)

1st Line IT Support Technician to its internal IT team. Offering a
salary of £25,000 - £28,000 and
Monday to Friday hours of 9:00am - 5:00pm (40 hours per week), this is an excellent opportunity to develop your technical skills within a supportive and forward-thinking IT environment.
This is far more than a traditional helpdesk role. You'll provide first-line support to users across the business while gaining hands-on exposure to infrastructure, networking, virtualisation and security technologies. Working alongside experienced IT professionals, you'll have the opportunity to develop your technical skills and build a long-term career within a supportive environment.
What you'll be doing
- Providing 1st Line IT support to users across the business, with opportunities to assist on 2nd Line support issues
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and user account issues
- Supporting Windows 11 desktops and laptops
- Assisting with Windows Server and Hyper-V administration
- Supporting networking infrastructure and Wi-Fi connectivity
- Helping maintain SonicWall firewalls and endpoint security solutions
- Supporting Android tablets, CCTV, access control and time and attendance systems
- Assisting with IT infrastructure maintenance and continuous improvement projects
- Delivering excellent face-to-face and remote customer support
What we're looking for We're looking for someone with previous experience in an IT support environment who enjoys solving problems and delivering excellent customer service.
Ideally, you'll have exposure to:
- Windows 11
- Windows Server
- Hyper-V
- Networking fundamentals
- Hardware support and troubleshooting
- General IT infrastructure
- Endpoint security solutions
Experience with SonicWall firewalls, CCTV or access control systems would be beneficial but isn't essential, as training and development will be provided.
