The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting pupils to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential.
Depending on the setting, you could be supporting pupils with:
You may work on a 1:1 basis, within small groups or as part of a classroom support team, helping pupils academically, socially and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities
What We're Looking For
We would love to hear from candidates who have experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEND.
Experience as any of the following would be highly relevant:
Experience working with autism, ADHD, SEMH, challenging behaviour or complex needs is desirable but not essential.
Most importantly, you will need to be patient, resilient, caring and passionate about helping children succeed.
