Manufacturing Systems Engineer
Cookstown, Co. Tyrone | Permanent | Full time, 39 hours per week

Fusion People are delighted to be recruiting a Manufacturing Systems Engineer on behalf of one of our esteemed clients, a global manufacturer of heavy equipment with a strong and growing presence in Northern Ireland.

This is a great opportunity to join a close-knit Production Control team where your work has a direct impact on safety, quality and delivery across the site.

The role

• Maintain and improve production control systems and processes
• Keep BOMs, routings and inventory data accurate
• Support ERP/MRP performance and troubleshoot issues
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean tools such as Kanban and 5S
• Analyse production data to spot improvements and support material flow
• Work with Production, Engineering and Quality on root cause analysis and engineering changes
• Provide day-to-day support to the production team

What you'll bring

• A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or similar, OR 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• GCSE English and Maths (Grade C or above)
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle or similar
• Strong Excel skills for tracking and reporting
• A proactive, organised approach and good communication skills
