Job Description:

Mechanical Contract Manager - South East (Guildford HQ)
£70,000 + £5K Car Allowance + Package

Mechanical Contract Manager required to join a fast-growing Mechanical Building Services principal contractor delivering complex HVAC and mechanical plant installations across the South East.

The business operates within the refurbishment and end-user sector, working directly with clients across education, healthcare and commercial environments with no traditional new-build construction focus.

Projects range from £100K to £4M and typically involve mechanical plant, pipework and system integration works including:

• LTHW & chilled water systems
• Air source heat pumps (ASHP)
• Mechanical plant installations
• Pipe services and system connections
• Integration into existing building systems

This is a delivery-focused role overseeing full mechanical contract lifecycle from pre-construction through to completion across a busy and secure order book.

Key responsibilities include:

• Full mechanical contract delivery from start to finish
• Pre-construction planning and technical input
• Programme development and coordination
• Subcontractor selection and management
• Health & Safety and compliance oversight
• Technical submissions and reporting
• Site and project performance management

What they’re looking for:

• Strong Mechanical Contract Manager or Senior Project Manager background
• Experience within HVAC, pipework and mechanical plant delivery
• Principal contractor or end-user project experience preferred
• Strong organisational and client-facing skills
• Ability to manage multiple live projects
• Confident working across refurbishment / existing building environments
