Multi-Skilled Operative – Kitchen Fitter
The Role
Our Planned Works Team is responsible for delivering improvement and cyclical maintenance programmes across a diverse housing portfolio. Working within both occupied and void properties, we carry out a wide range of refurbishment and improvement works including kitchen and bathroom replacements, roofing projects, insulation upgrades and other major property improvements.
We are looking for a proactive, highly motivated and customer-focused Multi-Skilled Operative with strong Kitchen Fitting experience to join our team covering Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Surrey, West Sussex and surrounding areas.
This role is ideal for an experienced tradesperson with a primary skill in kitchen installations who can also undertake associated works including carpentry, plumbing and general multi-trade repairs where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out full kitchen installations within occupied and void residential properties.
- Complete associated carpentry, plumbing and finishing works to a high standard.
- Deliver planned maintenance and refurbishment works safely, efficiently and in line with company standards.
- Ensure all work is completed right first time and to agreed timescales.
- Maintain excellent communication with residents and customers throughout the duration of works.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and safe working practices.
- Represent the business professionally, providing a high standard of customer service at all times.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a wider planned works team.
About You

- Has proven experience fitting kitchens within social housing, planned works or residential refurbishment environments.
- Possesses strong carpentry and plumbing skills.
- Has experience working within occupied properties and understands the importance of excellent customer service.
- Takes pride in producing high-quality workmanship.
- Is organised, reliable and able to manage workloads effectively.
- Has a positive, professional and can-do attitude.
- Works well as part of a team and can build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
