About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established and growing organisation within the industrial services sector, is seeking an organised and proactive Operations Coordinator to join their busy operations team in Portlethen.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys coordinating multiple tasks while working closely with customers, operational teams, and external stakeholders.
The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work closely with operational coordinators to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently, support the management of company assets, and maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
This position would suit a highly organised individual with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Liaise with operational teams to coordinate equipment allocation and movements.
- Track asset movements using the company's fleet management system.
- Complete all on-hire and off-hire documentation.
- Coordinate daily movement reports for clients and support monthly invoicing processes.
- Generate, maintain and upload cleaning and compliance certificates.
- Act as a point of contact for drivers arriving on site.
- Maintain accurate databases, records and operational documentation.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external customers throughout the workflow process.
- Provide cover for operational coordinators during periods of annual leave and absence.
- Attend training and development activities as required.
- Support wider business operations with additional administrative duties as requested.
