Job Description:

We are working on behalf of our client to recruit a highly motivated and experienced Parts Sales Executive. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual to join a reputable automotive parts business based in Loughborough, Leicestershire. The ideal individual will possess a proactive sales approach, excellent communication skills, and a strong desire to grow customer accounts within a dynamic team environment.

• £28,000 – £30,000 basic salary
• Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm working hours

Duties of the Parts Sales Executive:

• Handle inbound parts sales calls, understanding customer requirements and identifying suitable parts
• Make proactive outbound calls to existing and prospective customers to generate sales
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Follow up quotations and maximise sales opportunities
• Promote products, offers, and campaigns to customers
• Manage the shared sales inbox, responding promptly to parts enquiries
• Process customer orders accurately via telephone and email
• Maintain accurate customer records and activity logs on the CRM system
• Support wider sales team with administrative and operational tasks
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company’s parts range and services
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure excellent customer service

Requirements of the Parts Sales Executive:

• Proven experience in parts sales, internal sales, or a customer-focused sales role within the automotive industry
• Experience making outbound sales or account management calls
• Knowledge of automotive parts (advantageous but not essential)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Confident and positive telephone manner
• Strong customer service skills
• Proactive attitude with the ability to identify and pursue sales opportunities
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
• CRM experience is desirable
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Motivated, team-oriented approach and a drive to succeed
