Job Description:

Primary PPA Cover Teacher - 4 Days Per Week - Monday to Thursday - QTS Required

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Primary PPA Cover Teacher to join a supportive school on a part-time basis.

This role is working 4 days per week, Monday to Thursday, covering classes across the primary school, with 2 of the 4 days based in EYFS. The school is looking for a confident teacher who can plan independently, adapt lessons to suit pupils' needs, and create a positive and engaging learning environment.

The school supports pupils with a range of needs, including children with speech and communication difficulties, so the successful candidate must be completely fluent in English and confident supporting pupils with varying communication needs.

The Role:

• Primary PPA Cover Teacher position
• Working 4 days per week, Monday to Thursday
• Covering across primary year groups
• 2 days per week covering the EYFS class
• Responsible for own planning and lesson preparation
• Supporting pupils with a range of abilities and additional needs
• Creating a structured, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
• Working closely with class teachers, support staff, and senior leaders
• No form tutor responsibilities

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS
• Have proven experience working in UK primary schools
• Have EYFS and/or KS1 experience, which would be a strong advantage
• Have SEN experience or a strong interest in SEN
• Be confident planning and delivering lessons independently
• Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Be completely fluent in English due to pupils' speech and communication needs
• Be reliable, adaptable, and confident covering different classes

Please note:
This role is not suitable for ECTs due to the level of experience required.
