Production Operative
Ely
Monday to Friday | 7:30am – 4:00pm
£12.86 – £14.00 per hour DOE
Temp to Perm

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturer based in Ely. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their workshop team with a reliable and motivated individual who enjoys practical, hands-on work.

This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for someone looking to secure a long-term position within a supportive and stable manufacturing environment.

Duties Include:

• Assembling and manufacturing products to a high standard
• Using a variety of hand tools and workshop machinery safely and efficiently
• Measuring, preparing and fitting components with accuracy
• Carrying out quality inspections throughout the production process
• Handling raw materials and finished products within the workshop
• Following production instructions and meeting quality standards
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, workshop or production environment
• Experience working with timber or wood is highly desirable
• Confident using hand tools and machinery
• Good attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
