Project Quantity Surveyor – Modular Construction

Location: London
Salary: Up to £65,000 plus package
Security clearance: MOD clearance required

Are you an Assistant or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor ready to step up and take greater commercial responsibility?

Our client is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to support projects delivered through a secured  amount of  MOD framework. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with modular construction experience who is ready to progress, take ownership and develop within a growing business.

You will work closely with senior commercial and operational teams while managing the day-to-day commercial performance of your projects.

Responsibilities

• Commercial management of modular construction projects

• Subcontractor procurement and management

• Cost reporting, forecasting and cash-flow management

• Applications for payment and valuations

• Managing variations and compensation events

• Identifying commercial risks and opportunities

• Supporting contract administration

• Preparing and negotiating final accounts

• Working closely with clients, operational teams and the supply chain

Requirements

• Experience as an Assistant, Intermediate or Project Quantity Surveyor

• Ready to step up and take greater ownership of projects

• Experience within modular or off-site construction

• Experience working on MOD projects or with NEC contracts

• MOD security clearance is required

• Good subcontract procurement and commercial management skills

• Strong communication and negotiation ability

• Ambitious, self-motivated and keen to progress
