Job Description:

Quality Inspector

We are working with a key client who have a track record stretching back over 40 years, they offer customers a very broad, but complimentary range of contract and sub-contract manufacturing capabilities. They are currently recruiting for the their site near Lancaster for an experienced Quality Inspector.

Key skills required of the Quality Inspector:

• A minimum of 2 years working experience as a Quality Inspector
• Proven experience in a Quality Inspection role within a precision engineering environment
• Ability to use conventional measuring equipment (e.g. micrometers, verniers, height gauges)
• Experience operating CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines)
• Ability to inspect components using 3D models and engineering drawings
• Strong understanding of quality standards, ideally within AS9100 environments
• Experience in aerospace, oil & gas, or defence sectors is a disctintict advantage
• High attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspection
• Strong problem-solving skills
