Quality Support Engineer
£30,000 - £34,000 plus excellent benefits and funded qualifications

Do you enjoy solving problems, getting to the root cause of quality issues and driving continuous improvement?

We are seeking a Quality Support Engineer to join a leading manufacturing organisation in Cheltenham. This hands-on role will support quality operations, working closely with production, engineering and supply chain teams to identify issues and implement lasting solutions.

You'll play a key role in reducing Cost of Poor Quality and Defective Parts Per Million through root cause analysis, corrective actions and continuous improvement. You'll also support customer returns, non-conformances, audits, inspections and dimensional reporting.

Responsibilities of the Quality Support Engineer will include:

• Support and uphold quality systems to ensure compliance with internal and customer standards
• Assist with root cause investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Conduct audits, inspections, and process validations to ensure product and process integrity
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams on quality concerns
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through training and awareness activities

The ideal Quality Support Engineer will have:

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment supporting quality functions
• Strong knowledge of quality methodologies such as root cause analysis (8D, 5 Whys)
• Competence in metrology and use of precision measurement tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in ERP systems advantageous
