Recruitment Consultant / Sales Consultant 

Social Housing & Property Maintenance Sector 

£27,000 - £35,000 per annum + Uncapped Commission 
Permanent Position 
Based in Reading, Berkshire 

The Opportunity 

• ITS Property Maintenance are looking for an enthusiastic, commercially driven and outgoing Recruitment Consultant / Sales Consultant to join our specialist Property Maintenance team based in Reading 

• The role combines business development, account management and recruitment, with the opportunity to develop your own portfolio of clients, contacts and candidates within the Property Maintenance market 

• We're looking for somebody who enjoys speaking to people, building relationships, winning business and creating opportunities 

• Previous recruitment experience would be advantageous, although we're equally interested in people with a strong B2B sales or business development background 

• Experience or existing knowledge of the Social Housing, Property Maintenance, Facilities Management (FM) or Construction sectors would be a particular advantage, giving you an understanding of the clients, contracts, projects and people operating within our marketplace. 

What Will You Be Recruiting? 

You'll recruit temporary and permanent staff across our specialist Property Maintenance and Social Housing division. 

Typical vacancies include: 

• Multi-Traders, Carpenters, Plumbers, Electricians & other Maintenance Trades 

• Site Managers, Supervisors & Contracts/Project Managers 

• Surveyors & Quantity Surveyors 

• Planners, Schedulers & Administrators 

• Resident Liaison & Customer Support staff 

Your Role 

You'll become an integral part of our established Property Maintenance team, developing existing accounts while identifying and winning new business. 

Building Your Business 

A successful Recruitment Consultant doesn't simply wait for vacancies to arrive. 

You'll be encouraged to actively develop your market through client research, contract intelligence, candidate marketing, referrals, meetings, networking and proactive business development. 

Ultimately, you'll take ownership of your own specialist market and develop a profitable recruitment desk within the wider ITS Property Maintenance business. 

What We're Looking For 

Ideally you'll have experience within recruitment, B2B sales, telesales, business development or account management. 

We're looking for someone who is: 

• Confident and comfortable developing new business 

• Outgoing with strong communication and relationship-building skills 

• Commercially minded and motivated by targets and results 

• Resilient and comfortable working in a sales environment 

• Organised and able to manage clients, candidates and vacancies 

• Proactive, hardworking and willing to take ownership of their market 

• Comfortable working independently while remaining part of a team 

• Previous Social Housing, Property Maintenance, FM or Construction experience would be particularly beneficial.

Full UK Driving Licence 

A full UK driving licence is required as the role will involve attending client meetings, offices, depots and operational sites.
