Registered Manager – Adult Social Care

Basildon | £40,000 + £5,000 once registered | Permanent

Diamond Search are delighted to be representing our client in the appointment of an experienced Registered Manager in Basildon.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a 4-bed residential service supporting adults with Autism and complex needs. The service has recently undergone significant refurbishment and offers modern communal spaces, sensory facilities, multiple kitchens and a private garden.

We're looking for a hands-on, flexible and experienced CQC Registered Manager who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and developing a strong team.

The Role

You'll take overall responsibility for the safe, effective and compliant running of the service, including:

• Leading, motivating and developing the care team.

• Delivering safe, person-centred, outcome-focused support.

• Ensuring full compliance with CQC, safeguarding and statutory requirements.

• Preparing for and supporting regulatory inspections.

• Overseeing medication, incidents, risk assessments and quality assurance.

• Recruiting, supervising and developing staff.

• Managing staffing levels and participating in the on-call rota.

• Managing budgets and resources effectively.

• Building strong relationships with families, professionals and commissioners.

• Driving continuous improvement across the service.

About You

We're looking for:

• Previous Registered Manager / senior management experience within adult social care.

• Strong knowledge of CQC requirements and regulatory frameworks.

• Experience supporting adults with Autism and complex needs.

• Proven experience leading and developing a care team.

• Strong understanding of safeguarding, quality assurance and risk management.

• Excellent organisational, financial and communication skills.

• A genuine passion for delivering outstanding outcomes.

• Level 5 Adult Management Diploma (or equivalent), or willingness to complete.

Salary & Benefits

£40,000 basic salary + £5,000 once CQC registration is completed, backdated to your probation pass date.
