Registered Manager – Children's Residential Home (Ofsted)

Location: Preston
Salary: Up to £59,000 per annum + annual bonus of up to £20,000
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

We are recruiting an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead the opening of a brand-new therapeutic children's residential home in Preston.

You will oversee the registration, development and day-to-day management of the home, supporting children and young people with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the registration and opening of the new home.
• Recruit, develop and manage a dedicated care team.
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards.
• Oversee care plans, risk assessments and quality of care.
• Manage daily operations, staffing and performance.
• Build relationships with families and professionals.
• Prepare for Ofsted inspections and participate in the on-call rota.

Requirements

• Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in an Ofsted-regulated children's home.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or willingness to achieve it.
• Strong knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
• Excellent leadership and safeguarding skills.
• Experience supporting children with complex needs is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence required.
