Sales Operations Coordinator

Location: Sittingbourne
Salary: £27,000
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-Time, Office Based

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and proactive Sales Operations Coordinator to join a growing commercial business within the Chemical Industry based in Sittingbourne.

Working within a busy and fast-paced environment, you will play a key role in supporting customer accounts, coordinating orders, maintaining accurate data and ensuring products and services are delivered efficiently. This is a varied position that would suit someone who enjoys administration, customer interaction and working closely with multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the commercial and account management teams.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently through internal systems.
• Coordinate customer requests and ensure information is communicated effectively across departments.
• Support the introduction of new products and help ensure projects are delivered within agreed timescales.
• Maintain accurate customer, product and pricing information.
• Monitor stock availability and work closely with internal teams to support customer demand.
• Coordinate product samples and ensure they are tracked through relevant internal processes.
• Assist with meeting preparation, travel arrangements and general team administration.
• Respond to customer enquiries and provide excellent support throughout the customer journey.

About You

• Previous experience within administration, sales support, customer service or account coordination.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confident using Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Comfortable working with data, systems and administrative processes.
• A proactive and positive approach with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to build strong working relationships with customers and colleagues.
