SEN Outreach Tutor / Qualified Teacher – Bromley

New Chapter Tuition is recruiting experienced Tutors and Qualified Teachers to provide personalised 1:1 tuition and support for children and young people aged 5–25 across Bromley and surrounding areas.
This rewarding role is ideal for experienced tutors, qualified teachers, teaching assistants, learning mentors, youth workers, and education professionals with experience supporting learners with SEND and additional needs.
Learners May Present With:
• SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs)
• ADHD
• Dyslexia
• Autism (ASC)
• Anxiety and EBSA
• EHCP-linked needs
• Alternative Provision and EOTAS pathways
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver personalised 1:1 tuition and support sessions
• Adapt learning to individual needs and abilities
• Build positive relationships that support engagement and confidence
• Support academic, social, and emotional development
• Deliver Primary, Secondary, GCSE and Functional Skills support where appropriate
• Complete session reports and progress updates
• Work collaboratively with families and professionals
Requirements:
✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) and/or relevant tutoring experience
✔ Minimum 1 year of experience supporting children or young people
✔ Experience within tutoring, education, mentoring, youth work, support work, or similar settings
✔ Experience supporting learners with SEND, SEMH, ADHD, Dyslexia, or Autism
✔ Strong communication and relationship-building skills
✔ Enhanced DBS (Update Service preferred) or willingness to obtain one
✔ Right to work in the UK
