⭐ About the Role – SEN Teaching Assistant (Kettering)
As a SEN Teaching Assistant in Kettering, you will:
Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs
Support pupils with Autism, ADHD, behavioural needs, and non‑verbal communication
Use visuals, routines and calm communication strategies
Assist with emotional regulation and de‑escalation
Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider SLT
Create a safe, structured and positive learning environment
This role suits someone confident, nurturing and able to manage challenging behaviour with consistency and care.

Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or supporting pupils with additional needs
Confidence supporting challenging behaviour
Experience with Autism, ADHD, behavioural needs, or non‑verbal pupils
Strong communication and de‑escalation skills
A patient, resilient and calm approach
Valid DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
