Job Description:

Senior Quantity Surveyor
Please note, A valid EU passport is required for this role.

Our client is a specialist contractor delivering structural alterations, reinforced concrete frames and groundworks. They’re looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a data centre project. Relevant data centre experience is preferred.

The Role:

You’ll manage the commercial aspects of the project, working closely with the project and site teams to keep costs controlled and contracts on track.

General Duties:

• Manage project costs, budgets and forecasts.
• Review subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Prepare and assess applications for payment.
• Manage variations, change control and cost reporting.
• Support procurement and subcontract administration.
• Monitor project progress and identify commercial risks.
• Help resolve contractual and payment queries.
• Provide clear commercial updates to the project team and senior management.

Experience:

• Senior Quantity Surveying experience with a subcontractor.
• Experience in reinforced concrete frames, groundworks and/or cut and carve.
• Data centre project experience is preferred.
