Job Description:
Sue Ross Recruitment are working on behalf of a well-established professional services firm in Sheffield who are seeking an experienced Senior Secretary to join their Support Services team.
This role can be offered on either a full-time basis (35 hours per week) or part-time (minimum 3 days, including a Monday).
This is a key position within the organisation, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the secretarial team while providing high-level administrative support. The successful candidate will thrive in a busy environment and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, discretion and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing detailed and accurate typing of business documents, letters and tender documentation
- Creating and maintaining master documents and internal procedures
- Organising travel and accommodation
- Delegating workload across the secretarial team
- Approving leave and coordinating suitable cover arrangements
- Booking and coordinating internal and external meetings and conferences
- Providing PA support to a senior partner (including diary management)
- Managing stock control and ordering of stationery and marketing materials
- Overseeing new client onboarding processes
- Supporting with general administrative duties as required
About You
- Previous experience in a senior secretarial or administrative role within a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Professional, discreet and team-oriented approach
- Previous experience in a professional practice environment (desirable)
