Job Description:

Site Manager - Specialist Interiors
Location: Oxford

A well-established specialist contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join their team, overseeing the day-to-day running of projects across Oxford.

This is a hands-on site management role, working closely with the Contracts and Project Management teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, to a high standard and in line with programme and budget.

The Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, including:

• Managing site teams, subcontractors and operatives
• Ensuring high standards of Health & Safety are maintained
• Carrying out regular site inspections, toolbox talks and safety checks
• Monitoring quality and ensuring works are completed to the required standards
• Managing materials, plant and labour on site
• Monitoring programme and productivity, identifying any potential delays or issues
• Liaising with clients and other project stakeholders
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and site requirements
• Maintaining accurate site records, diaries and photographic reports
• Supporting with variations, inspections and project handovers

About You
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Site Manager, ideally within a specialist construction, interiors, fit-out or related environment.

You should be confident managing site teams and subcontractors, have a strong understanding of Health & Safety and QA, and be comfortable dealing directly with clients and project teams.

Relevant site management experience and a good eye for detail are essential.
