Job Description:

📍 Vacancy: Site Manager - Mechanical & Water Infrastructure

📍 Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire

📍 Experience: Water infrastructure, background in water or MEICA

📍 Contract Length: 5 Months

UPB are working with a specialist construction contractor to hire a Site Manager with a Mechanical-bias for a project in West Yorkshire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day site activities on mechanical installation for a project
• Managing site teams, fitters, and subcontractors to ensure adherence to engineering drawings and specifications
• Manage quality of works delivery
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets
• Maintain high-quality standards throughout all phases of construction.

Required Qualifications & Training

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager, Site Supervisor or similar role.
• Previous infrastructure delivery experience, preferably within water
• CSCS Card
• SMSTS
• First Aid
• Strong people skills
• Self-motivated, able to manage work under your own steam including short-term programme updates, RAMS, client interaction
