Location: Newbury

Salary: £28,500

Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.45am to 4.45pm, Friday 7.45am to 1.45pm

We’re working with a well‑established business looking to add a Stores Coordinator to their team. This Stores Operative role offers the opportunity to join a company known for designing and manufacturing cutting edge engineering products.

As a Stores Operative your key responsibilities will include: 

• Inspect incoming goods and verify them against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
• Manage stock records by ensuring accuracy between physical inventory and system data.
• Liaise with Purchasing and Quality teams to resolve discrepancies or non-conforming goods.
• Attention to Detail. Accuracy in checking goods, stock levels, and documentation
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately with internal teams (Production, Purchasing, Quality)

To be considered for this Stores Operative position you will need: 

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or stores environment would be beneficial
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail
• Computer literate

As the new Stores Operative, you can expect:  

• Salary: £28,500 
• 25 days holiday per annum, including bank holidays
• Pension plan that matches up to 7%
