Technical Sales Representative

The Technical Sales & Customer Support Representative job is responsible for providing a high level of service to customers, supporting sales activity and ensuring customer enquiries and orders are handled efficiently. The role combines technical product knowledge, sales administration and relationship management to identify customer requirements and develop new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities for the Technical Sales Representative Job:

• Process and manage customer sales orders accurately and efficiently.
• Respond to customer enquiries, providing clear and timely information on products, pricing and availability.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, identifying opportunities to convert enquiries into sales.
• Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Liaise with customers regarding orders, quotations and ETAs.
• Provide customers with order updates and relevant delivery information.
• Issue and send Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation as required.
• Handle general product enquiries and provide appropriate technical support.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
• Work closely with internal teams and colleagues to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Manage returns, including faulty, damaged or unwanted products, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
• Deal with customer queries relating to product delivery, orders and invoicing.
