Waking Night Children’s Residential Support Worker
Looking for a waking night role in children’s residential care where you can provide calm, consistent support and help keep young people safe overnight?
We are recruiting for a Waking Night Children’s Residential Support Worker to join a child-focused residential home in Godalming.
You will be supporting young people aged 11 to 17 in a structured children’s home environment. The role is about being reliable, alert and calm throughout the night, making sure young people feel safe and supported.
This is a temp-to-perm role, with a genuine route into a permanent position once both sides are happy the fit is right.
The role
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of young people during the night.
You will help maintain a calm home environment, respond to young people when needed, complete checks, follow care plans and make sure accurate records are completed before handover.
This role would suit someone who is patient, emotionally resilient and comfortable working independently while still being part of a wider team.
