Warehouse Operative/FLT Driver

Staplehurst, Kent

£34,281 per annum

Monday to Friday 7am-5pm with 1 hour for lunch

The Role:

As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll be responsible for keeping materials moving efficiently between goods-in, storage, production and fulfilment.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Unloading and checking incoming deliveries
• Storing materials safely and accurately
• Picking and delivering materials to production and fulfilment lines
• Stock counting, inventory checks and location control
• Operating Reach and Counterbalance forklifts
• Maintaining a safe, tidy and organised warehouse
• Supporting the Warehouse Manager and wider production team with daily and ad-hoc tasks

About You:

• Previous warehouse, logistics, production or packing experience
• Current Reach Truck AND Counterbalance forklift qualifications are essential
• Good communication and literacy skills
• A strong understanding of warehouse health & safety
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with warehouse/stock systems is advantageous
