Hales Group are seeking an experienced and reliable
Warehouse Operative to join our client’s team in Beccles. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced warehouse environment, where you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods. Key Responsibilities - Safely load and unload goods from delivery vehicles and check deliveries against documentation.
- Store products in designated warehouse locations, ensuring correct labelling and organisation.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Carry out stock control activities using scanners and warehouse systems.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as Counterbalance Forklift and Power Pallet Trucks (training provided if required).
- Provide support and cover for the Goods In Manager during periods of absence.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety standards.
- Complete daily tasks efficiently while adhering to company procedures.
Requirements - Previous warehouse experience preferred but not essential.
- VNA, Reach, Counterbalance Forklift and Power Pallet Truck experience and certification is desirable.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks.
Role Details - Location: Beccles, Suffolk
- Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Pay: £14.06 per hour
- Contract: Full-time, permanent
