About the Role

Francesca’s Recruitment Ltd is currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader / Supervisor on behalf of a well-established business based in Mansfield (NG18).

This is an urgent permanent position for a hands-on Warehouse Team Leader / Supervisor who can take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the warehouse and support a small team.

The successful Warehouse Team Leader / Supervisor will supervise two warehouse operatives, allocate workloads and work closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient running of daily warehouse operations.

The position would suit an experienced Warehouse Team Leader / Supervisor, Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader or a strong Senior Warehouse Operative looking to progress into a Warehouse Team Leader / Supervisor position.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support two warehouse operatives, ensuring daily workloads are effectively managed

• Allocate tasks and monitor workflow throughout the day

• Provide hands-on Warehouse Team Leader / Supervisor support across all warehouse activities

• Lead by example and maintain high standards of productivity and performance

• Manually count, check and process goods in and out of the warehouse

• Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to support daily operational requirements

• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment

• Ensure warehouse procedures and health and safety requirements are followed

• Support the wider warehouse team with general duties when required

Skills & Experience

• Previous warehouse experience is essential

• Previous Warehouse Team Leader / Supervisor experience is desirable

• Experienced Senior Warehouse Operatives looking to progress into a Warehouse Team Leader / Supervisor role will also be considered

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Confident allocating work and supporting other team members

• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently

• Comfortable working in a hands-on warehouse environment

• Forklift licence would be advantageous but is not essential, as training can be provided

Working Hours & Salary

Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 5:30pm
30-minute break

£26,561.60 per annum (£12.77 per hour)

Salary may be negotiable for the right candidate, depending on experience.
