BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE
BECKENHAM, LONDON OFFICE BASED
£35,000 - £40,000 BASIC + PERFORMANCE BONUS + £65,000+ OTE
HIGHER BASIC SALARIES CONSIDERED FOR DIRECTBONUS INDUSTRY

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Are you a Business Development Executive who enjoys converting warm enquiries, selling premium products and seeing your customers' projects through to completion?

Get Recruited are partnering with a growing supplier of premium security doors to recruit a Business Development Executive. Based in their new showroom and office, you'll focus primarily on qualified incoming enquiries, with responsibility for securing the sale and coordinating the order through to installation.

This would suit a Sales Executive or Sales Consultant who wants ownership beyond the initial sale. You'll work with homeowners, architects and developers, handling enquiries generated by digital marketing, referrals and repeat customers.

THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE ROLE:

• Respond to warm enquiries by phone, email and in the showroom, understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable products.

• Prepare tailored quotations, typically worth £6,000-£8,000, explain product options and follow up consistently to secure confirmed orders.

• Use your experience as a Sales Executive or Sales Consultant to handle objections, negotiate effectively and achieve agreed sales targets.

• Build relationships with homeowners, architects and developers, identifying opportunities for repeat orders and larger projects.

• Take responsibility for confirmed orders, checking specifications, measurements, finishes and accessories carefully.

• Arrange site surveys, raise invoices and submit confirmed orders for manufacture, coordinating suppliers, production teams and installers.

• Monitor order progress, book installations and address potential delays with the relevant teams.

• Keep customers updated throughout, manage expectations and coordinate outstanding issues through to completed installation.

• Maintain accurate lead, quotation, order and project records in (url removed), ensuring follow-ups and project tasks are completed.

• Provide updates on sales conversions, pipeline activity and project progress, contributing to individual and team performance.

THE PERSON:

• Experience as a Sales Executive or Sales Consultant, with a track record of converting enquiries into sales.

• Confidence understanding customer needs, preparing quotations, negotiating and closing business.

• An organised Sales Executive or Sales Consultant who has also coordinated customer orders, installations or projects.

• Strong attention to detail when handling specifications and order information.

• Experience using CRM systems and managing multiple customers simultaneously.

• A motivated, target-focused approach, with the willingness to support colleagues and contribute to team results.

• Experience selling premium or luxury products is desirable.

• A background in doors, windows, glazing, construction, home improvements or interiors would be advantageous.

THE PACKAGE:

• £35,000 basic salary, depending on experience.

• Higher basic salaries considered for candidates with direct security door industry experience.

• Bonuses linked to individual performance and team results, with £65,000+ OTE.

• Warm enquiries generated through established marketing activity, referrals and returning customers.

• Full-time, office-based position; working hours 8:30am-5:00pm.
