Contract Manager – Hard FM

Building Services Technical Engineering

£70,000 + £5,000 Travel + Bonus

An experienced Contract Manager is required to oversee the delivery of technical facilities management services across a multi-site portfolio. This role is responsible for ensuring high standards of service delivery, contractual compliance, operational performance, and client satisfaction across a range of mechanical, electrical, and building services disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance services.
• Lead and coordinate operational teams, specialist contractors, and supply chain partners.
• Ensure service delivery meets agreed performance targets and contractual obligations.
• Monitor contract performance, financial outcomes, and operational efficiencies.
• Develop and maintain strong stakeholder and client relationships.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for added value.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation, statutory obligations, and company procedures.
• Review and monitor asset management, maintenance programmes, and service reporting.
• Support the development, coaching, and performance management of operational teams.
• Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure works are delivered to the required standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in Contract Management within Facilities Management or Building Services.
• Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience managing service delivery across operational environments.
• Good knowledge of statutory compliance, building services legislation, and maintenance best practice.
• Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and financial performance.
• Experience using CAFM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced service environment.

• Technical qualification or engineering background.
• Experience within hard FM environments.
• Professional facilities management or engineering qualifications.
