Contract Manager – Hard FM
Building Services Technical Engineering
South & Central London
£70,000 + £5,000 Travel + Bonus
An experienced Contract Manager is required to oversee the delivery of technical facilities management services across a multi-site portfolio. This role is responsible for ensuring high standards of service delivery, contractual compliance, operational performance, and client satisfaction across a range of mechanical, electrical, and building services disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance services.
- Lead and coordinate operational teams, specialist contractors, and supply chain partners.
- Ensure service delivery meets agreed performance targets and contractual obligations.
- Monitor contract performance, financial outcomes, and operational efficiencies.
- Develop and maintain strong stakeholder and client relationships.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for added value.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation, statutory obligations, and company procedures.
- Review and monitor asset management, maintenance programmes, and service reporting.
- Support the development, coaching, and performance management of operational teams.
- Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure works are delivered to the required standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in Contract Management within Facilities Management or Building Services.
- Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Experience managing service delivery across operational environments.
- Good knowledge of statutory compliance, building services legislation, and maintenance best practice.
- Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and financial performance.
- Experience using CAFM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced service environment.

- Technical qualification or engineering background.
- Experience within hard FM environments.
