Job Description:

Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturer.  They are looking for an experienced Production Operative to join their busy manufacturing team.

PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

• Solid experience of working as a Production Operator / Manufacturing Operative in a continuous manufacturing environment (at least 3 years).
• Experience of working with large manufacturing machinery is ideal (any experience in plastic manufacturing would be ideal, but not essential, e.g. Injection Moulding / Plastic Extrusion).
• Experience of general quality checking finished products, with an eye for detail.
• Experience of working to production targets, and doing all necessary to ensure these are met.
• Happy to work 12 hours shifts, days and nights on rotation.

Salary:  TBC (advert to update soon) + Shift allowance + Overtime

Hours of work: 3 on 3 off, Days and Nights on rotation, 12 hour shifts (7am-7pm / 7pm-7am)

Responsibilities:

• Operating and overseeing heavy manufacturing machinery.
• Reporting any production/machine issues to management to ensure continuous production.
• Quality checking products, looking for defects and adjusting production accordingly.
• Any other duties requested by management to assist with continuous production.

This job would suit someone with experience of working a hands-on role in a manufacturing, factory, production environment.
