Freelance PQS / Quantity Surveyor – Major London Cut & Carve

Freelance PQS / Quantity Surveyor | £300 per day | Central London | 12–18 Months

I’m currently looking for an experienced PQS / Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Main Contractor on a major £40m+ cut & carve project in the heart of London.

This is a long-term freelance opportunity, with 12–18 months remaining on the project, working within a highly experienced commercial team.

What I’m Looking For

You’ll need a strong commercial background with proven experience working on major cut & carve, refurbishment, complex commercial or large-scale construction projects.

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Experience working on projects of £30m–£50m+
• Strong PQS / QS experience within a Main Contractor environment
• Experience managing commercial packages from procurement through to final account
• Strong understanding of variations, valuations, subcontract management and cost control
• Experience on complex refurbishment / cut & carve projects
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

This is a genuine long-term opportunity on a high-profile London project, so I’m particularly interested in QS/PQS professionals who have worked on similar-value, technically complex projects.
