Job Description:
We are recruiting for a Registered Manager to launch and develop a new private domiciliary care service in Leighton Buzzard. This is an opportunity to build a service from the ground up while benefiting from the infrastructure, resources and established network of a successful national homecare provider.What’s on offer:
- £38,000-£42,000 salary.
- £2,000 car allowance.
- 33 days’ annual leave.

Registered Manager Responsibilities:
- Leading the day-to-day operations of a growing private domiciliary care service, ensuring safe and effective delivery of care.
- Managing and developing office and care staff, promoting stability, performance and retention.
- Embedding strong leadership, accountability and a positive branch culture.
- Meeting with prospective clients and families, conducting assessments and converting enquiries into private care packages.
- Building relationships within the local community to generate private growth opportunities and increase brand presence.
- Maintaining high standards of CQC compliance, governance and quality assurance.
- Supporting the on-call rota and ensuring continuity of care across the service.
Registered Manager Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within domiciliary care, live-in care or supported living.
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations, compliance and governance.
- Commercial awareness and confidence supporting the growth of a domiciliary care service.
- NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or working towards.
- Full UK Driving Licence with access to your own vehicle.
